Sorry for the late notice, but I just saw this. The kids would get a kick out of this.

More on Ringling Elephants:
The physical and behavioral needs of all of our animals, including the beloved Asian elephants, are a top priority at Ringling Bros. ?

We are dedicated to helping to preserve the endangered Asian elephant through the work at our Ringling Bros. Center for Elephant Conservation? (CEC), a 250-acre state-of-the-art facility in central Florida. The goal of the CEC is to focus on the research, reproduction and retirement of Asian elephants. Since its inception, it has seen unprecedented breeding success, due to a dedicated and expert staff of veterinarians, scientists and animal care experts. Ringling Bros. has the largest sustainable population of captive Asian elephants in the Western hemisphere ? our 20th calf, Mable, was born on April 6!

Of course, part of our elephant care includes excellent nutrition and the food the elephants will eat at this event ? fresh bread, fruits and vegetables ? represents the kinds of food we buy fresh in every city we visit.
