I watched a little of dateline tonight and they were doing the internet deal with talking to older men and acting like 13 yr old girls. The guys would drive hours to the girls houses and claim they weren't going to do anything even though they had been talking about sex earlier. Although sad, I did laugh to myself every time they got arrested. I hope the law enforcement here does stings like this and get some of these people cleaned up/in jail. Also, parents should definatly watch what their children are doing that much more. I don't have a daughter but it is scary to think that I might have one and look at how perverted a world I would be bringing her into. Just a though.
The real pervs are also going after your sons.

It's pretty simple to block these sites on your childs computer with things like NetNanny and others programs like this. Just takes a little effort. This sort of crime has been going on for a while. Before, the pervs would show up to a playground and offer your child a ride or candy then grab them and run. Now they've become more tech savvy.

What high school? I went to high school with him early on then he left.

I went to CBHS with him. He was always kind of quiet and weird.
