A Flint, Michigan, woman who paid $1,662.07 of her electric bill
instead of $1,662.08 had her electricity turned off for still owing
one cent.

The CMS Energy Corp. told Jacqueline Williams that her electricity
would not be turned on until they got the penny.

It probably cost them more to drive out there and cut the utilities off.

That's freakin' ridiculous.

But... she should seriously try to pay her bills or turn off the thermostat.
