I know we all love to hate each other, but we need to get this conference back to the top in the minds of the rest of the country. The ACC has been viewed as "down" recently, and nowhere has that been more evident than the # of tournament bids we've received.

I would love to see (at a minimum) 6 teams in the ACC tourney this year, and I think that is possible. Heck, we could even get 7 in if all things fell the right way (UNC, dook, Wake, Tech, Maryland, State, and FSU). Also, it would be great to have a couple of #1 seeds and maybe a #2 or #3 seed in the tourney.

We can go back to hating each other when conference play starts. In the meantime: win!

Don't worry we'll manage to get by without any outside help. I don't gues you all need to be reminded that we've been doing just fine for the last decade or so.

Has anyone counted up how many ranked teams have been defeated by ACC teams so far?

By the way did you read the quote from Nick Whiner-Medley complaining about the Florida fans and their name calling and nastiness and he should know about that.................................? He even said Fla was worse than Duke! We've got to do better. We want to remain #1 in your hearts.

I did my part by rooting for Clemson against Georgia today. Didn't work though, but that's because Clemson is awful. Tons of turnovers, missed free throws, missed layups. Yuck!
