Please tell me that the Christmas Carol thread wasn't lost in the StateFans transition! That was one of the best threads ever and I helped write some of those carols with a State poster... :D

Yo! I'll look for it.
Edit: I have the old pages saved on a disc. I can't find them online. But maybe there's a way to get 'em back online, since they're STILL relevant 'n' all (grumblegrumble)...

, beowolf!
I'm remembering a thread that was done on StateFans in December 2001 that went several pages that included not only your gems, but some other top-notch carol parodies by State posters as well as a Hanukkah one written to the tune of Adam Sandler's Yarmulke song... It was in the StateFans archives prior to the merger. Does anyone know if it is retrievable?

You have them saved? Awesome! If the archives are gone, send the pages to me and I can put them online (mark [at] upperdeckchevy [dot] com).
Some of the song titles I remember:
The First Home 'L'
Away Games Are Danger
Tark! The Herb replacers sing
Over the Basket and Through the Hands, Our Layups and Passes Go
What Coach Is This?
I also remember doing an entire 12 Days of Christmas rendition

UDC: Sent 'em. I had three pages saved. I know I probably missed some good stuff from pages 4 & 5, but I forgot to go back later and save them.
I had forgot about this! Thanks for reminding me.

I found the lyrics to the Hanukkah parody from that thread (amazing what old stuff can be found on my hard drive ). When UDC recovers from the bowl celebration and gets the thread reconstructed, I'll see if it was on the pages beowolf saved. If it isn't, I'll post.

Up on the hardwood,
Brick brick brick
Five-minute droughts
Assure a loss real quick.
Boy, I don't know about you, UDC, but I sure don't miss those days ... glad we're past that 'n' all .... :bang:

And just like in 2000, the team has done a complete 180 since this thread was posted. So, I'm bumping this now in hopes that the ball will keep rolling against UNC tonight
