A lot of people keep throwing Duhon in the 1st team mix. All I have to say is no way. While Nate keeps building him up in his mind, Duhon has another rather embarassing game. 2 points, 1-5 from the field, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 TO's (might I add JJ had 5 assists and 2 TO's). I understand that everyone has a bad game, but none of the other top 3 PG's (JG, Felton, and Paul) have shown such a poor display (especially against Clemson). Let's remember as well that this isn't the first game that Duhon has stunk up the joint. JJ had 23 and yet everyone thinks he will not make 1st team because of Duhon....please. Duhon is over-rated and he just keeps proving it.
Kaiser,

IF (and that's a big if) Duke goes undefeated in the ACC, I can see Duhon on the first team. It's really not much more than a popularity contest anyway.

So are you saying Duhon would Join Williams and JJ in the first team? That would be a huge slap in the face of all the others that deserve it much more. But hey, it is Duke right?

No, you're putting words in my mouth........

and you are just assuming Williams and JJ will be first team.

I said IF Duke went undefeated....

Considering that no one else in the ACC has a chance at this point to finish undefeated and unless Duke has a major meltdown in the last half of the season, I would say that Duhon has a chance of being first team. It's too early to rule anyone out.

At the mid-point of the season, it's anybody's guess.

And you're right, it is Duke.

doh
Again, Kaiser, you show that you only know the stats... and not much about the game. What Duhon does for this team is immeasurable in the statbook.

Duke will win the NCAA tournament this year, and it will be on the shoulders of two people... K and Duhon.

I'm not putting words in your mouth, I honestly think Williams and JJ will get in because they deserve to. Duhon would be a huge Duke biased slap in the face.

Nate wake up! Just because you spend all your time reading quotes from Duke based sources doesn't mean the ACC is going to overlook his dismal stats. There are 4 other PG's in the league who are all leaders of their teams. Many of these PG's mean more to their teams than Duhon. Many have better numbers than Duhon. Many are clutch offensive and defensive players. The way I see it, the numbers are going to be the deciding factor. With that said, Felton is the guy.
