As soon as the Tigers didn't go for it on fourth and two at midfield, I knew this game was over.

We started playing not to lose instead of playing to win.


Let Avery throw the ball and try to make some plays.

tommy prepared the team well today...but its the same ole thing...we start running the ball and keep running it when we have a lead instead of going for the kill..throw it a bit to keep the defense honest

I'm not going to be mad anymoe..

I knew they didn't have a chance anyways.

Tommy West has done a lot of good things for this program, and maybe next year we will be better.

i don't think avery running the ball has anything to do with tommy...it's just avery not running the plays called...he's being selfish, and i'm ready for barefield...at least he look for receivers before he tucks tale and runs.

I hope we've been sandbagging with DeAngelo. Please, please let this be the strategic move of the decade!

I sure do miss the tough Tiger defenses of old. :crying: I know if I were playing offense for the Tigers I'd be pissed as hell at the defensive play calling. Two staright seasons of this type of lopsidedness (offense vs. defense) is pretty much inexcusible and growing very old very fast. Our first unit defense's talent is down and we have no depth. This could very well get ugly before it is over, but I'm not giving up. Never surrender. :angry:

If Deangelo plays now, it would kill his yards per game average, unless he runs for about 150 in the 2nd half.

Well, we have improved dramatically since that game in Knoxville in 2001.

What was the score at half-time back then... 28-7?

Don't argue, Derby. Ban him. Hell, it doesn't matter. He won't show his face here until we play UT (and beat them) next season.

Didn't have a chance? We dominated the 1st half and that TD right before half time really hurt....we played them for 4 quarters...WTF are you talking about Greenhorn? :angry: :angry: :angry:
