Not really, we acknowledge that VT is a football school.

Bringing in 63,700 to a game is still a damn good accomplishment. I'm in no way knocking UVA's fan support. The fans are getting better there and some day, Scott is going to be a 1st rate atmosphere like VT (I'd put Scott as a 2nd tier for now). The VT-UVA rivalry is going to be HUGE very soon. In fact, if we win on Thursday (and we should), both teams should be top 20 for our game with us around #13 and yall around #18 or 19.

Scott is still up-and-coming as far as atmosphere. It's still 2nd tier right now, but it looks like it could be first-tier soon. And if Groh continues to have this level of success here at UVA, the fans will just continue to come. UVA-VT is developing into one of the biggest rivalries in the country, and it is undoubtedly the biggest football rivalry in the Mid-Atlantic. Being down here in Texas, I often have to watch UVA games on ESPN Gameplan, so I am hoping that the UVA-VT game is going to be nationally televised this year. Last year I was lucky enough that the game ABC was showing in our region ended with about 6 minutes left in the UVA-VT game, and they switched over in time for me to see the fake FG to seal the victory.
