I was a bit worried. Oklahoma had JJ completely shut down in the first half, but they couldn't keep up with him in the second. Sheldon is playing great lately--no silly fouls is what I'm the most happy about. He's blocking and hitting the shots away from the basket. If he plays like this, we finally have our first big man contributor in the post since Boozer. He just has to keep playing smart like he has been.
Shavlik, on the other hand, even though he was so nice to us, still looks lost out there. Fouled out with zero points. If we can even get a HINT of contribution from him, it would help Duke out immensely.
And DeMarcus Nelson--I hope the kid stays for three or four years. He can really get some rebounds for his height.
And I think we need to practice free throws--we sucked at the line tonight (even JJ missed one). But all in all, it was a great win because they had to fight for it.
