this stuff goes back to Keith Lee. Ark thought they would have him, being from Ark and all. we got him.
Todd "traitor" Day went to Ark when we thought we would have him. i still hate him.
Penny's last two teams were Mem and Ark and nobody was certain until the press conference.
DeAngelo Williams verballed to Ark and signed with us.

whatever happens with TY i can assure you one thing:

we are going to be a VERY VERY good hoops team this year and next. there are other recruits out there. granted maybe not the top. TY might pick us anyway. it would have to kill him to not play with the local dudes he already knows, and watch us storm through the tourney next year.

but if he goes to Ark, fine. he is out of our conference and out of our hair. We will STILL be the better team, the better program, and have the better coach, oh and have the better natl exposure. we will be fine fine fine.

We had the first option on the Day Package and Larry turned it down. Todd, really wanted to come to Memphis.

kerzackly... I think jeb has the letter ol'Frank sent saying he'd turn ASU in if Lee signed with them.

TD's step brother sucked and Larry didn't want the baggage. The step bro ended up blowing out a knee and was taken off the basketball scholarship list. Larry would have needed a psychic on the staff to have kown that would have happened.

I blame Ron Huery for the Ark. defections. He was the 1st big recruit to go over there to that backwards ass state.
