For those in the know (Keith)

Where would rank our class next year rank if TY becomes a Tiger (LIKE HE WANTS TO)?

Where would it rank if he is not here?

Just curious. It still seems like we would have a good class either way.

TY coming (oh please, oh please) will make it fantastic. WK and Niles and whoever else is a class to get excited about, don't you think?
Without him, we're still one of the top in the nation, as usual..

With him...Easterwood was on the CV show the other day, and he essentially said it would be the Fab Five all over again...correct me if I'm wrong there, Keith.
So I guess it's just going to hurt our pride more than anything if TY doesn't come?

Would we have a legitimate at a national title if Thad is on our team as opposed to not?

I would love for TY to be a Tiger (as it seems that he wants to be). However, I would suspect that we will be fine either way.

You know, Fran Fraschilla over at ESPN says that we have a legitimate shot to win the title THIS season
Not to make fun of Fran, but shouldn't we win a couple of games in the tourney first.

I know that we have a ton of talent, but that seems to be a stretch.

Now if you mold this talent into a team this year and surround it with a talent like TY next year, does that set us up for a title?

I think your shooting for the starts for us to have a chance to win it all. Look at last year, we did not have as much talent and we where one of the only teams in the nation capable of taking out a final four Louisville team. Luck is also involved.
DWASH and Carney are player of the year candidates. How many stars do you want on the team, before you will believe? You think West Virgina of UMW had the talent we have. We will play as a team.

Well, to be fair.. good ol Fran isn't the only one riding the Memphis choo choo this season.

There was a panel of writers at Sports Illustrated who speculated last season how many games would Laurinburg Prep ( consisting of Shawne Williams, Dozier, Cooper and Anderson ) win in the NCAA tournament, if they were allowed to compete.

I believe the general consensus was that they would probably make it to the sweet sixteen.

I don't know about that one? Where is that documented. I would love to read that transcript.
