Bunting has hired two coaches and shaken up the staff a bit in the last couple of days. Dave Brock was hired to take over the WR coach position, and Tommy Thigpen will coach the linebackers. Brock has spent the past three years as OC and QB coach at Temple, where his offenses set records for offensive production. Thigpen has coached linebackers and cornerbacks at Illinois.
Meanwhile, Coach Gute was moved up to assistant head coach and will also coach the tight ends. Ken Browning will coach the DT's and Lawing will continue with the DE's. Marvin Sanders will now be the lone DC, and Andre Powell will coordinate the special teams.
It's a lot of moving around, but I think it can be a solid staff. We'll see come next year....
