I didn't realize the soccer field had already been built. Hmmmm.
The baseball park is also slated to be built from 2008-09. Like that's going to happen.
So what will happen is the athletic fee will be raised for the sports they didn't away from us.

Looking at the track facility...thats one of the proposed locations for the football facility.
Truly an athletic department of renderings.
ETSU plays us to be fools. They release a football stadium rendering- and there is absolutely no way to know what the stadium will look like until they determine a site.
Here they have pretty drawings- "Won't this look good?"
Yet even a concrete question- such as "Would a new arena be built so it could have a hockey rink as well as a basketball court? Would ETSU try to attract concerts to the venue?" aren't even given the stock propaganda answers these people love to give.
Or "Would a new baseball stadium also house the Cardinals? Or would ETSU try to rent out the stadium for a larger minor league team?"
I don't even think they realize what revenues can be achieved through rents.
You can't rent out a softball field. You could share a soccer field with football or other sports, but they're too concerned with messing up the pitch.
That's a real arguement not to have a football team.
If ETSU screws up their athletic department to this degree, then it only stands to reason they'd screw up everything this way.
