I wonder if anyone really cares how ETSU does in this golf tournament. North Florida. Who cares?

If I hear one more time how much potential Florida Gulf Coast has, I might throw up. They're ranked below Florida Southern and a few others in Division II baseball. How does that make them a legitimate Division I threat?

Typical small time thinking. Typical ASun thinking.

Question: Now that football is behind us - and there's very little, if any, hope that we'll move into a better conference in the forseeable future, who will you folks be following in football and basketball?

I've decided to go with the vols, the team I disliked the most while a student at ETSU. Funny how things change. I used to see them as a rival. Now, we're not even in the same league, literally or figuratively, as Tennessee. We're not even in the same league as a Furman, Davidson, Middle Tennessee or Marshall anymore.

It's like I've been asleep and woke up to find everything changed.
While I will still watch the Bucs in basketball, I enjoy watching I-AA college football and small I-A leagues such as the MAC and SUN BELT. To me the football is better when its not all about money, and NFL ego's.
I hear ya. I'll always pull for the little guys. But I like to have a team to follow, as well. If I lived in an area with a quality I-AA school, I'd pull for them. Living in Knoxville, looks like the vols are my best option.
I like Pitt.
I will be following the Bucs in basktball, but will be following UVa in both football and basketball now. I haven't really followed UVa since the early 90s, but I guess it is time to dust of that UVa baseball cap. May take them up on some of those alumni offers for game tickets/lodging I receive via e-mail.

Kev, I can see your point. Living in Knoxville it is pretty hard not to follow them. I started disliking UT while at ETSU and I still dislike them! I will be following Southern Conference teams in football(since we do not have it) but will support the Bucs in other sports. It is just too much a part of me not to pull for the Bucs. I still have not given up on football. With changes in leadership, anything can happen.
I never thought I'd say this, but I guess I'll have to be an App State fan????????
I'll pull for the Bucs in basketball. I'm with BucDocter UVA Football!
Follow the MOCS! They seem to like Coach Taylor down there so why not? And who knows, maybe in time they'll hire Paul Hamilton as a coordinator?
I think I might pull for CofC since they seem to recruit Tennessee better than we do. As far as football, I will pull for Wofford as I have since we pulled the plug on our program. Thomas Neel, one of Wofford's assistants, has always been a great friend.
