Agree'd....how can you keep Nuckles off the 1st team? And I hope Thomas got a look for defensive player honors, but I don't guess they publish the voting.

Congrats to CP he deserves it. I feel pretty lucky to have a player like him on our team. It's good to know he is just a sophomore.

He is a very deserving player. He and others on our team have the talent to play just about anywhere. The team talent is I think our greatest asset.

They couldn't give us everything, though I think Thomas deserved DPOTY.

Thomas should have gotten player of the year. That was a crime.

The fact so many players have won awards in the two years in this conference speaks more of the mediocrity of the Atlantic Sun than the talent of the players.

That was proven last year when Tim Smith won POTY.

I have to say though Pigram deserves this award more than Smith. He is just a much better all around player than Smith ever will be. Better shooter, better defender, not selfish, etc. I think if we were still in the Socon Pigram would be at least 1st team all conference. Maybe not POY but definitely one of the top players.

I agree with your statement except defender. Wasn't Smith in the NCAA top 5 for steals most if not all of last season?

If we were in the SoCon this year we would probably be the fourth ranked team and while Courtney would be all conference for sure the POY might bo to someone on the top teams.

Damn good thing we're not then. Don't worry about what they're doing, we have a tournament to win to get to the NCAA's and 25 wins.

CP is number ten in steals. Was even higher for awhile earlier in the season. CP is a better overall defender to me. TS only defensive ability was the ability to steal the ball. CP will guard somebody more than TS in my opinion. TS steals were unfortunately offset by his turnovers.

I absolutely agree about TS. I always thought that he as a great talent that could have been channeled better and would have made him a lot better player.
