You can blindly say "Paul Stanton wants football back!" but I'm not sure it is accurate.

Looking over at a thread on the bucfootball.com board, under the title- "Student Fees Would Not Be For Football"- I am concerned-

To save you some readings- the student fees will not fully fund football. It will run at the same $1 mil deficit it did before, which insured mediocrity.

Furthermore, the addition of soccer, per A-Sun requirements, will demand that much less money for the most expensive sport you can have.

Finally- the poster (Qcombuc, who I believe is a former player but I'm not sure) writes- "If . . . these (financial) stipulations cost ETSU their football team, then it's time to make sure everything gets laid out on the table."

WHAT HAVE I BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS NOW???????

If this effort falls through, the thing is that's it. It won't come back.

But what I can't figure out is that the football foundation (and I'm a part of it) has, on good faith, allowed the people that killed the program to set the numbers that will bring it back.

NOW THAT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!!

NONE!

I cannot imagine any other University where an athletic director, who had dubious credentials to get the job in the first place, would be given so many free passes.

This effort must not fail and I think it's time for us to demand the resignation of Mullins immediately.
