Well they announced the addition of Men's soccer today. What affect is this going to have on the return of football? Is this sport really needed now with football on its way back? What affects does this have on Title IV? All they have said is how many more Women's sports they are going to have to add to make up the difference for football. So how does adding Men's soccer help? The bottom line is the A-SUN requires Men's soccer, but if we are getting football back and hopefully changing conferences, why do we need to bother adding it now. It seems they did not revaluate this situation since the announcement for footballs return. What are everybody else

None. For now, the university is proceeding with adding both sports.

The return of football is not a sure thing. There's the student body vote on the additional fee, TBR approval, and hella lot of fundraising to be done.

You mean Title IX. It won't have near the effect as a football team; there's not nearly as large a roster or as many scholarships for soccer as for gridiron football. It may not help ETSU's title 9 status, but I don't think it'll hurt it, either. If we're taking requests for new women's sports, I want gymnastics, but we won't need until (and if) we start giving out football scholarships.

It's a funny thing, all this fundraising to be done, less than three months before we're supposed to have over a quarter of a million dollars IN HAND and magically there's not even an announced campaign?
