with the schedule they play? Here's a link to a link that shows you why WVU can make a BCS bowl.

One thing is for sure, your joke of a conference, the MWC, doesn't deserve one. Try to have more then one ranked team per year and one fluke season if you want an automatic BCS bowl bid. Begging is pathetic. And I love how the Big East AND MWC fans made you look like an idiot by showing you how the Big East plays a tough schedule.

the big question is why are u here???? 01-lauramac2
ahhhh....WVA beat $EC champ UGA in the sugar bowl......does this answer your question?
West Virginia is piggy-backing the "Big" East. Minus Pitt once in a blue moon the rest of the conference isn't BCS worthy.

West Virginia is not the caliber team that re-loads year in & year out....when they go through a rebuilding period the Big East will struggle to keep their BCS status.

What's the rule? A team must be ranked in the top 12 final poll at least once in a 3 year period to retain BCS status? I can't remember the exact numbers but that's close.

You seem to be forgetting about UofL....they are a solid top 15 team this year. WVA won't have any problems staying in the top 10 all year. Yes, the rest of the conference needs to raise their level of play (Pitt is getting back to old form) and we really need Cuse to get back to where they once were as a program. UC, USF, and UCONN have a ways to go.

Louisville isn't a great program....they've had a couple good teams the past few years but they're not the type of program that's going to consistently bring in top recruits.

I don't know...they have been solid the last several years and guys like Brohm and Bush seem to be rolling in.....so I disagree with your statement.

Now, if you mean, a "good program" like USC or Texas, you are correct they are not on that level but they are still a solid top 20 program.

With WVA playing the way they are and Pitt heading back to it's glory days the BCS standing will be just fine......

PS: I need you guys to please beat Texas...we don't want to come into Ohio stadium just after a loss @ Texas...it would make a win for us go from improbable to impossibe..... 04-chairshot

That was what established programs used to say about Miami, too. I know, why don't you bring your Bucks to Papa Johns and judge for yourselves.
I wish I could....then that'd be one less overrated Big East team.

L'ville has had a good span the last couple years, but unfortunaly for you, it's about to end. Enjoy it while it lasts, because after that your team's just another cream-puff on the OOC schedule for the real BCS teams.

There's only one way to find out for sure. Put us on the schedule. Everything else is just talk.

lmfao

Whoops!
THey would make a better case for themselves if they played better OOC teams. Maryland hasn't done anything the past 3 years after Fridgen put them on the map in 03. The ACC is really sucking this year, DUke shut out by Richmond, NC beating Furman by only 3, VA losing to WMU, NC ST losing to Akron, Free Shoes U having to score twice late in the 4th to beat Troy by a TD. Maryland had trouble with Bill & Mary. Miami is going down the crapper.

The ACC has only 3 decent average to slightly above average teams, BC, Clemson & GA Tech; the rest of it is non-BCS/high D1AA calibre. WHich means if the BE wants to gain national credibility that it's champions deserve BCS bowl status it needs to schedule more games against the SEC & Big 10 and not just IL & IN.

The Pitt team that Wanny is supposedly resurrecting lost last week at home to MSU which will now begin it's midseason slide into averageness. 02-13-banana

they are too afraid to do this....they wouldn't escape Papa Johns with a win...

Hey Bucknt, where you at now dumb***? Last year, Louisville #6, West Virginia #10, Rutgers #12. This year, West Virginia #5, Rutgers #10, South Florida #18, Cincinnati #24. Notice how the Big East isn't struggling to maintain BCS status.
