I'd also like to remind all of you that both of our schools are on their eigth coach since the retirement of their coach with the longest tenure. Twenty-five years for us, twenty for you.

PS- Why do you call it Rex Dockery Field when he went 8-24 (.333) while holding the reins?

Because he was in the process of turning things around when he was sadly killed in a plane wreck along with Charles Greenhill.

As for Rex Dockery... I had no idea. Hence the reason I asked. Now that I know, I think that what they did in honoring him was very thoughtful.

It was also thoughtful of Rey Dempsey to carry on with that incredible turnaround.
