Dan Sheldon had a couple of good punt returns for the Cologne Centurions on Saturday. Unfortunately for Cologne, one was called back for a holding penalty, but I hope Dan has at least earned his spot as the primary returner.
He also caught a couple passes, one for a first down.
I talked to Dan last night, i used to live with him. He is a stand up guy and I know he is going to do well out there.
Does any NFL team hold his rights now? I thought I remembered the Bears signing him for the practice squad. Any movement since then (other than to Europe)?
He was always fun to watch both returning punts and as a WR. I hope he gets another shot somewhere in the NFL.

I think Sheldon was allocated by the Falcons.
