it also said he graduated w/ a degree in sports management. I looked on UT's website and they don't have that major.
Graduating from University College, the degree is likely a BA in Liberal Studies or Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Sports Management. Easier to write it the way they did, though not completely accurate.
They have a similar program - my nephew is graduating with a degree in communications and was in sports management prior to that.
