Winthrop's coach moves to the Shockers. Only if Charlottes' Lutz takes USA job, is there a meaningful job available for KSU's HC.

What I find interesting is that Winthrop's coach had to settle for WSU. He certainly got a heck of a deal over that of what the Eagles offered but 7 out of 9 years dancing, with a couple moving past the 1st rd, along with playing the big boys in regular season games at the big boys gym and he wasnt really given more consideration? I find that strange.

All in all, WSU got the better of the coaching change. Reports were that Turgeon had lost the grip on the squad with a number of kids wanting and feeling deserving of significant minutes, minutes that were not forthcoming. Additionally, some who had received those minutes, felt they were always on "thin ice" with a short leash. A storm was brewing on the Plains.
Point, Turgeon got out in time to cash in at A&M before a rebellion was fully exposed.
Now with Marshall in charge it will be neat to see how this plays out. Regardless, Marshalls MO is to recruit great athletes with skills. If the Marshall Plan stays to hoyle battles with SIU in the near future could be legendary. but then, maybe Marshall will get his props and be onto say UVA, when Dave Leito leaves to replace a retiring Calhoun at UConn.
SI.com reports Lutz turned down South Alabama, staying at UNC-Charlotte.
I dont know why, maybe Lutz was just trying to leverage Charlotte.

USA has a boat load of talent coming back that already danced last year and should make it into the 2nd round. After that anything can happen.

I also cant believe, like Altman going to Arkansas, there is any skeletons hidden in any closets. Considering Pelphrey suffered under Sutton as a result of the Eric Manual FedEx disaster, that he would have any such case develop under his watch.
