Not trying to revel in the problems at UT (there but for the grace of God go us, you know) but after the shock of that story wore off and I read the thread on the main board, I couldn't help but laugh at those that are taking pot shots. Some of the comments are pretty funny. In a way, though, I do feel sorry for UT fans and alums that all this is happening.

What would be very entertaining out of this is if we find out Davis was trying to intimidate someone who might have some dirt on him (ie: someone that knows he was involved in the point shaving issue that was thinking of coming clean about him)

I don't really feel a lot of sympathy for their fans in the same breath that I didn't think we as a fan base deserved any respect after the better part of our football team became a bunch of thugged gangsters who went around picking fights and destroying fraternity houses. Luckily that era has passed and we've moved on to players of much better character.

You want to bring that up again? :bean: Let sleeping dogs lie.
Personally, I don't see where either incident had anything to do with the fans.

OB1 - You've now been cited for "emoticon abuse." That's your last warning! (Although the errorhead reference might get you off the hook.)
