Greg Squires-LW - Indiana Ice (USHL)
5'7" 170# born: 6-7-88

He appears to be a decent player on an average team. That said, anyone that's played a full season in the USHL is a fairly safe bet. His line is 12-20-32 over 53 games with 53 PIM. He spends a lot of time on both special teams units scoring 2 pp goals and 3 sh goals this season. I haven't seen any press release from Indiana or the USHL yet, but I'll try to post one once one comes out if no one beats me to it.

The following is from the Western College Hockey Blog:

Quote:Forward Greg Squires committed to Western Michigan. Squires had played with the NTDP and committed to Boston U, but that apparently fell through, and he's been playing in the USHL. So far as I can tell, he is the first NTDP player Western Michigan has recruited. Technically, Jim McNamara played for the NTDP, and eventually transferred to Western Michigan from St. Cloud.

In other news goaltender Jerry Kuhn is in the top five in the USHL in GAA and has an outstanding SV% for the season.
