Kampe is beating the pants off MAC teams inreagrds to recruiiting local kids. Williams committed to Oakland the other day and in todays paper Maynard from Lake Orion a Junior prospect has verballed to Oakland U. Over the past years he has beaten most MAC teams to Jones, Kangas etc.

I noticed that same thing. Does anyone know if Rams has won any recruiting wars with Kampe? Was OU after Bowdry, Bunkley, Medlock, etc...?
Bunkley was recruited by Buffalo, EMU and Montana St I believe.
Medlock by Alabama St, EMU and Canisius I believe.
Definatley Jones and Kangas befor and Williams and Maynard afterwards were recruited by EMU.
Bowdry was recruited hard by UDM and Bowling Green
Lets hope Rams lands a good player the next few weeks.
It sounds like Solomon Farris has potential. If Zane's scholarship opens up then Rams should strongly consider a JUCO.

I'm reaching here, but there may be a silver lining.
Most of the guys Kampe beats Rams for are from Oakland County. There are a few exceptions (e.g. Jonathan Jones). Rams is getting beat by Kampe in Kampe's backyard. If Rams can get his share of good recruits from the rest of the state then all will be well.
Dennis expect EMU to recruit well Washtenaw, Wayne, Oakland, Western MI, Lansing, Grand Rapids, etc.
That is not realistic.
Kampe is indeed recruiting well in OAKLAND County as he should given that Oakland County is a recruiting base for Oakland U.
I'd be surprised if Ramsey did well in Oakland.
Likewise, UDM should be formidable for kids from Detroit.
is that Ramsey does very well at finding prospects that others tend to overlook.
I'm impressed.
Some of them may not be the highest regarded but they have produced for Ramsey.
One caveat - big men from JUCO.
