Sorry for the multiple posts, but wanted to pass these on as they came in. Here is the entire MAC FB schedule:

For the 2007 season, as was the case in 2000 and 2001 when the MAC was at 13 teams, the league will play an unbalanced conference schedule, with divisional games being the primary factor in determining the divisional champion. Cross over games within the conference will serve as a tie-breaker, in the event that head-to-head results do not determine the divsional championship.

The conference schedule meets the NCAA legislation for conference championship games which specifi es that a league play a full round-robin divisional schedule.

Each MAC team will play a full schedule within its division. In overall MAC games, fi ve of the six West Division teams will play seven league games with one team [Toledo] playing eight conference games. Six of the seven East Division schools will play eight MAC games with one [Miami] playing seven MAC contests.

A couple of corrections:

Buffalo at Rutgers is August 30
Add the Kent State at Temple game on Nov. 17.
So NIU abandoned playing weekday games and now we won't be on ESPN anymore? Interesting, considering the weaker MAC teams' fans were complaining that it hurt their attendance but they're continuing to do it.

Beat me to it, I also thought the Buffalo @ Kent State game is the 24th of November not the 23rd?

I misread that too. If you look closely, you will see that it does indicate the 24th.
The MAC Football TV package is steadily rolling down hill....

Only 4 conference games on ESPN 2? Two years ago the MAC had 7 of them.

I noticed Toledo-BG was bumped down to an ESPNU game. First year not on ESPN/ESPN2 since 1999 I believe.

How about mention of a 4th MAC bowl game? Are we too afraid of losing the bowls we have to ask for a fourth?
Expect more TV games (ESPN packages) to be announced at a future date. Last year the MAC was ripped for releasing their schedule so late as they waited for TV games to be finalized. This year they were much much earlier but there may be more TV games and mild date changes over the next few months. Stay tunred.

Great, I guess I should just wait for Miami's HC game to be moved to Tuesday night then.
I can't beleive the complaining. Look at past years, look at this year. There are a ton of great OOC games against some good competition. Some good home games with BCS teams. I don't care if it takes ezxtra time to get it togehter, it's worth the wait. The CARDS are playing Navy, Nebraska, Indiana, and the Illini! OUtside of Nebraska, we have a great chance to win - buty they are all on the road.

More to come on TV.

More to come on MAC Access - I watched almost all the Ball State basketball games at my computer! Tv computer, who cares!!! TV will as we know it today is soon to be a thing of the past. Get what you want, when you want.

Now MAC teams need to go out and win some of these BCS games..
GO MAC, GO CARDS!!!
Good thing Kent State flamed out in November and fell a win short from going to a bowl game. Now, the MAC and ESPN do not need to waste air time on KSU.

For teams and fans who have become accustomed to being on TV, I think the luster of TV has worn off and instead teams want to go back to traditional Saturday dates. Teams like Kent State and Ball State who have trouble drawing on Saturdays may actually get a great crowd for a rare ESPN2 game on a Wednesday night.
