The MAC stood its ground as other tournaments improved, but we still have a solid tournament. Of the conferences that passed us for this year, many of the finals were not in neutral sites.

What the Missouri Valley did in St. Louis, incidentally, was amazing. What a league!

Lost in the contraversy is that the MAC semi finals and final offered very competitive, entertaining games.
I thought Wright State hosted the final vs. Butler at the Nutter Center.
Wright State DID host Butler in the Nutter Center.
22K at the ACC final? No way..I was there and the third level was less than a quarter full. I'd say 16-17K tops.
The MVC totals are amazing.
Just a few short years ago in Toledo and at other locations we were lucky to get 4,00 fans - the move to Cleveland was a great move! I did not think it would woek, WOW was I wrong.

The MAC is number 8 in the country in attendance for a neutral site tourney final. Not too bad at all....

Anyone else see why WKU so desperately wants to get out of the Sun Belt?
a lot of the other non bold places were neutral for the 2 teams. For example, the MAAC final was in Conn, so it was neutral for Siena and Niagara
To put this into perspective, the MAC Semi Final games wold have placed 8th on this list. I still say a Akron- Kent final would top 15K.
