You got it done!!! 04-bow 04-bow 04-bow
Congrats to the RedHawks and their fans.

Akron has been voted the #1 worst luck team ever.
Unbelieveable!

I would have bet my house that Akron would have takent Miami tonight. Fortunetly for my family, I didn't bet anything. Still, a stunning upset. Congratluations to Charlie and the Red Hawks.

Both semi finals and the final games were very exciting...maybe MAC basketball has some promise!
Great job RedHawks!!! 04-rock

Good luck in the Tournament.

I second that emotion.

Let's see: #4 seed beats #5, #1 and #2 with no opportunity to play #3.

Nobody can argue that the Redhawks didn't earn it and then some. Unfortunately probably facing a #14 or lower seed, so please, please don't regress to early season form.

PS: first the BG-Buffalo end of game fiasco and now this. Am I alone in thinking that there should some changes in MAC officiating?
MAC officiating, although still in need of an overhaul, didn't screw up the clock. I believe the timekeeper did that.
Congrats to the Redhawks and Coach Coles. Best of luck in the Dance.
They didn't screw up the clock, but the screwed up everything that occurred after the buzzer when off (the first time).
Congrats Red Hawks, now go out and get the MAC a tourny win...

I understand that the clockkeeper screwed up but the zebras didn't help IMHO.

If the clock started late, then I don't understand why they would add time. It the clock had started early, would they have substracted time? Where is the logic?
Congrats Miami, good luck in the Big Dance
Congrats to Miami and Akron for a great MAC final. MAC finals always the dramatic ending. Miami made the plays three games in row and they earned the title. Akron #11 in ft in the MAC and that caught up with them.

Middleton a great player and career, but like the poor Memphis kid a couple years back he's gonna be remembered for the brick at the end.

As far as I'm concerned, Middleton is a beast and no way would I blame him for the loss. Free throw shooting is a problem on the entire team. Remember he still has a year to get things right, and I think he will come back as one pissed off SOB. I know a lot of MAC fans hate Akron, but do not degrade what our players have accomplished against more talented teams (yes a more talented Kent State team included). You can say whatever about our fans. We're the ones who dish the dirt, but our guys left it on the floor tonight. We simply did not have enough left in the tank, and I believe that the Kent game did take a lot out of us. Miami played strong throughout and pulled it through. The MAC tourney is a crap shoot. Anybody can win it, and that is why it is so hard to win.
Congrats to Miami, my second favorite team behind Buffalo.
