I had to put a new hardrive in my computer and lost a lot of my settings. I'm trying to go to a website: toledorockets.com and it's asking to run the active x and I agree but get this box popped up:

"Windows has blocked the publisher because it cannot verify the publisher"

I think I had this problem before but don't remember what I did to fix it. The links on the left all have boxes with the red x in the corner and can't click on those links.

Any tech wizard out there?
In Internet Explorer 6 and Windows 2000:

Tools
Internet Options...
Security
Custom Level...
Download Unsigned ActiveX controls: Prompt

It might be something a little different for different IE/Windows versions.
Use Firefox or Opera. That should fix just about any problems you might have.

Only problem I have with Firefox is that it just doesn't seem to like Quicktime, which a lot of graphics seem to use. Often have to go back to Internet Exploder to see these.
Stop looking at porn...problem solved! :)

Unfortunately this didn't make any difference. Porn has nothing to do with it and I'm not sure what Firefox or Opera is or what it does? I know I didn't need either of these previously. Any other suggestions.

On the above, I hit "Prompt". I also enabled everything and still wouldnt' work. Not sure what this signature is.

You enabled the "Download Unsigned Active X" option in there and it still came up with the same error about Windows blocking the publisher because it cannot verify the publisher, or is it a different error now?

What version of IE do you have? And please don't tell me you are using Windows Vista.

If you are using IE 6 on Windows XP then try this Active X download - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912945
Hmmm..... I'm not sure what to tell you then.

Firefox is an Internet browser just like Internet Explorer.

It has many cool features (like tabbed browsing) that IE does not have.
