I can see at least five of those MAC players getting drafted -- Garrett Wolfe, Doug Free, Joe Staley, Dan Bazuin, and Ryne Robinson. Don't know about the other three.

Dan B in 2-3 rd
Joe Staley and RR in 4th due to MAC only RR might rise though
Garrett Wolfe slides depending on this game and combine Probably 2nd round, but most say 4-5th round and making a team on guts alone.
Doug Free- 6-7th round maybe or FA

Defenses will be going hard and fast this season.
QB's will be down this year
OLBs and CB's next
WR/TE next

Talking heads are pushing Defenses as the positions that need the most revitilization around the league.

Free has had his share of individual success in college, earning post season honors after each season he has played. As a freshman in 2003, he earned Freshman AA honors after being a key cog in Michael Turner

[quote]Ryne Robinson WR 5'10 175 Miami(OH)
By: Robert Davis

Robinson burst on to the scene as a true freshman, making an immediate impact as a return man. He finished the year averaging 17.2 yards per punt return, taking three back for touchdowns. As a receiver, he caught 28 balls for 468 yards and two touchdowns. He continued his success as a receiver and returner as a sophomore, returning two more punts for touchdowns and catching 64 balls for 932 yards and four touchdowns. Quote:The 2007 NFL Combine Timing and Testing Sessions will be held from February 21st through 27th at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN. The scouting combine is an invitation only event, open only to invited players and NFL team officials. The tests/evaluations include: 40 yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 20-yard shuttle, three-cone drill, 60-yard shuttle, position-specific drills, interviews, physical measurements, injury evaluation, drug screen, cybex test, and wonderlic test.

Perhaps the most newsworthy test, the Wonderlic Test is an intelligence test has been given to prospective players in the National Football League since the 1970s. The Wonderlic is a 12 minute, 50 question exam meant to judge their aptitude for adapting to certain situations. Similar to other standardized tests, the Wonderlic uses a multiple choice format for its questions with increasing difficulty. It's designed so that most players won't have time to complete it. Pat McInally (P/WR from Harvard) is the only football player to record a confirmed perfect score.
Gee what slap in the face to EMU:

Wellock no 2 MAC kicker in history-not on the list.

Deslauriers holder of most EMU receiving records including those once held by Kevin Walters-not on the list.
I'd guess that, since the NFL is a copycat league, Devin Hester's effect on games this season may improve Robinson's draft stock, even among temas who don't think he would fit into the regular rotation at WR.

The Bengals sure could use a KR like RR. Anything not to see Ratlif dancing for 1 yard.

I would love to see Chad, TJ and Ryne as the 3 WR's in Cincinnati...Who Dey. Then we could trade Chris Henry to the ravens where he belongs...

Do kickers go to the combine?
Andy Alleman will get drafted as a Guard in the NFL. That's what he played for two years at Akron. He is getting multiple looks from many scouts and i would not be shocked if he goes by the 4th round.
