Taking an offensive line position at LSU. Hopefully this will mean Brandon will have a larger influence in getting our play-calling back to the Josh Harris days where it belongs!!

Seems like you guys were more along the Josh Harris days last year anyway. A lot of QB draws and running the football from the spread. That's what I really remember from those days, against Toledo at least.
Not surprised...

Do I read "He was encouraged to find other employment" correctly?
Tough to say...he had turned down 100,000+ a couple of years ago to coach the OL at UCF. I do recall some talk of friction between he and Brandon after the 2005 season. If true, I can't imagine that what happened at the end of last year would have helped.

It really is a tough situation to read...on the one hand you can look at it and say that's three coaches who have left, they're getting out while they can. On the other hand, all three have left for better jobs. Azzani gets to go back to CMU and work as assistant HC (how much of that is titular nonsense I do not know) and WR coach under a guy who worked with Rich Rodriguez. Studwara gets a nice gig at an SEC school and Springer gets to be a DC at a newly minted 1A program at Western Kentucky instead fo a DB coach.

I'm glad some changes have been made, I think we needed some fresh blood after having the same crew for the past few years. I would have liked to have kept Azzani and Springer though...

I thought that a Toledo guy coached the OL at UCF.
