Getting a little cooler but I'll still take it in January..........

It was 47 down here last night. I had the heat cranked...temps will only make it into the mid 60's today.

My son had his first snow day today. He is in preschool up here in Bedford, MI and they follow what Bedford schools do. Bedford schools had a 2 hour delay and no AM Kindergarten. No AM Kindergarten means no preschool at the preschools up here.

Funny thing is we only had about an inch of snow and the streets were fine. I still can't figure out why school was on a 2 hour delay.

We had no snow on the ground in T-town. I heard that there were a couple of inches on the ground up in Michigan.

Yeah, by the time I got to the Ohio/Michigan border this morning there was nothing on the ground. Weird how the cutoff was basically at the state border.

The real story here is that people have less excuses in the winter....can't use the weather as any way-out!

Ahh yes.. winter... the only comfortable temperature/humidity combo you'll find in the Carolinas all year. Too bad it does nothing but rain.. and occasionally ice up.

They salted the streets in my neighborhood and they put it down thicker then snow they were predicting. The little dusting we got melted as soon as the sun came up.
