Thomas Merriweather from St. Louis (Hazelwood East) is down to NIU, Miami (OH), and Kansas.
Had offers/interest from other Big XII and Big Ten schools but waited too long to pull the trigger on a commit and those schools have filled their RB spots.

Is this the same kid we talked about before? I recall that kid being interest in Northern Iowa as well.
Seems like we have a decent pipeline built at Hazlewood. Isn't that where Jarrett Carter is from?
The same Hazelwood East team has a 3-star fullback named William Anderson who is down to Northern Iowa and Arkansas State. I don't remember which one has been talked about before (if not both).

That kid, William Anderson, was only interested in Northern Iowa because everyone else had taken taken back their scholarships because they filled them. He is a 3-star recruit and said if no one else offered him then he would just go to UNI. I actually liked Anderson better because he is bigger and heavier and could become a short-yardage, goal-line back for us.

Or that as well. We already have enough running backs on our team that are the same size as Thomas Merriweather. It would be nice to have a bigger running back because once Prime is gone we won't have any. I would like to get both Anderson and Merriweather, but i would much rather have us get Anderson and recruit a stud defensive lineman.
What we really need is to sign another QB!
