im waching bradley and n. iowa a good game from a verry good mvc ..these jurk anauncers took about 10 minutes to explain why ,eventhough the rpi of the mvc is #3 in div.1 ,is not deserving of that rating.. i guess these peaple just pick and choose when a rating is deserving or not ..they must be the lord ..jurks.. you just have to have a 75 iq to get one of those jobs ...hey i qualify... get me a job somebody..on espn...... lmfao lmfao
You're twisting words. The crux of what they were saying is that the MVC is not the third-best conference in the country, which you'd have a hard time arguing against.
its as good as the big 10

would do fine against the big east

beats the mac, sun belt, horizon, colonial, the United States of America conference, and probably the wac and a10

acc, sec, and to me the pac10 are better

the mountain west is pretty good this year but not better than the valley

the big12 will have some very good teams

gotta like davidson too

vcu, who the rockets beat, and drexel, who we didn't, are both having great years

the valley is just solid top to bottom and they defend their homecourts real well too
Based on who they have beaten so far this year, the MVC ranking looks deserved to me!

Teams should be penalized in rankings for playing only patsies at home prior to their conference season.
The polls don't matter. The selection committee has come out and said they want to see teams play competitive OOC schedules, and that's what matters. And that's why you'll see a few major teams sent to the NIT this year in favor of MVC or CAA schools.
the colonial has some good teams that scheduled up

they also have some crappy teams who haven't beaten anybody

there isn't a bad loss left in the season for a valley team. in a league like the mac or colonial you can't have many slip ups in conference.

the colonial probably gets 2 in this year, maybe 3

everyone in the vally looks like they'll be top100 type teams. a team would have to nearly lose out to drop from the top 100 rpi.

the southern could get a second bid this year if either davidson or appalachian state won the league and lost in the conf tourney

the wcc could get 2 if gonzaga loses the tourney or santa clara finishes strong and beats gonzaga at least once

the a10 could be a 1 bid league. xavier, st louis and dayton are solid but all could end up nit teams by going 10-6 in conference

the mwest will get 2 or 3

the horizon, United States of America conference, and WAC could get 1, or 2 if a butler, memphis, nevada loses in the conf tourney

the northeast conference will get 1 bid

even if their best team wins every game by 74 points
