Well we beat St Mary's and Duquene twice and they are 3-7 which equals their win total from last year. We could start conference play 3-9. This has the makings of a very very bad year.

The year hasnt even begun yet, its all about MAC conference play, I cant wait for MAC play to begin, and having NIU defend their crown.
You should have waited a few days on this statement. It could have been the first delusional remark for 2007! ;-)
I wish you were right, we all want success in bball, If you are banking on winning the majority of conference games after taking a beating in a average non- conf schedule, the the MAC has to be awful this year.

Just think back to Depaul last year in non-conf play, absolutely dismal. Then they were one of the hottest teams in the country there for a little while, didnt they beat Syracuse by like 40 after losing to NIU.
I think MD is right. Non Conf games don't matter, so the team hasn't been trying!!! Can't wait for MAC play, we are gonna win every game!!! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 02-13-banana

Too bad Carol Owens didn't get the memo, we are gonna get blown out of the water by the MAC!

But DePaul had talent. NIU does not. 04-jawdrop

If I remember back to last year, everyone wrote Depaul off as being done.

How many NCAA tournament games did DePaul win last year? Oh, that's right, ZERO!
