I was reading the Ball State message board to get their thoughts on the TU-BSU game last night when I came across two posts that Thompson called one of his players the "N-word" and could be heard dropping the F-bomb multiple times. Apparently the arena was very quite and this could be heard loud and clear by the fan.

This is a disgrace in my opinion. As a white male, I have be brought up in a society that the N-word is the worst word you can call an african-american. To call one of you own players this in an arena is crazy.

Where there is smoke there is fire. There is a whole lot going on behind the scenes with Thompson who has not ingratiated himself at all with the folks at BSU and even within the BSU business community.

Many at BSU are shaking their heads and wondering what they saw in this guy outside of his name. BTW...I have since come to find out that he was about to be released by Arkansas but BSU saved them the trouble.

This hiring went south almost from the moment they announced Thompson.
