Hope your team can get the MAC bowl teams off to a great start tonight. Us MAC fans will be pulling for you guys. I want to see Wolfe go off on the Frogs. Show them that there is great football teams and players outside of Texas.

Go Huskies! Go MAC!! 04-rock
Ditto! Should be interesting to see Wolfe versus the nation's 4th-leading rush defense. Do the MAC proud!
Giddy-up....NIU...Go MAC 02-13-banana
6-0 TCU 3 minutes in. TD and a missed pat
Bad field position to start and it cost them. Will be an uphill struggle tonight.

Go Huskies......
Two kicks for TCU two blocks... this time a punt... good field position for NIU.
NIU offense is being completely dominated by the TCU defense....

which puts the NIU defense on the field for WAY too long...

which has led to a 16-0 TCU lead at the half.

Can the Huskies possibly make a game of it the second. Sorry, I can't see that TCU "D" giving up 17. Maybe NIU can get some turnovers with a short field.
somebody get me a barf bag...this is embarassing...GW continues to look awful so do the Puppies....wow.
A one dimensional offense that can't get anything going due to being dominated on the lines and a defense that is on the field way too long.

In short, NIU is way over matched by a good, speedy TCU team. I wonder if we are seeing the future of NIU for next year? Not saying that any defense in the MAC is as good as TCU, mind you. Just that NIU has no offense that really scares anybody if you take GW out of the equation.

I knew that NIU had an uphill climb to be competitive in this game. Just didn't expect it to be quite so lopsided.

WMU held Wolfe to 25 yards. The MAC has equal "D's."

You won't find any objective observers to back you up on that. I have no connection to TCU but there isn't a MAC defense close to TCU this season. WMU may be the best of the bunch but its a good ways back.
We've got a good defense but don't kid yourself - we have nowhere near as much team speed as the Froggies......we rely on swarming to the ball. I also believe that TCU's defensive front is much more athletic than any group in the MAC.

I'll put WMU's secondary up there with TCU's though on an even footing.
This game will be fodder for the "6-6 BCS squad should be allowed before 7-5 teams" crowd.

Though TCU's defense is rock-solid, NIU's offense is painful to watch. Once GW is taken out of the equation, the Huskie "O" is basically nothing.

Up 30-7 in the fourth quarter, and TCU just threw a loooong pass? 03-confused

I respectfully disagree. The truth of the matter is #25 TCU deserved to play against a Top 30 opponent. But with the bowls already "pre-aligned", the Horned Frogs had nowhere else to go.

Toledo held Wolfe to 54 yards on 16 carries so at the very least it can be argued that the MAC has Double D's! lmfao 04-jawdrop
