UCLA was already going to a bowl. They are now 7-5. They have accepted the Emerald to play FSU. If UCLA had lost, the PAC 10 would have had 3 6-6 teams and enough bowls for only one or possibly two. UCLA was going to be one. I don't remember if they have a bid for Arizona off-hand, but I know WSU is left out in the cold. It has no impact on the Motor City. We can try all of the what ifs, but they have been done. It is going to be a Sun Belt team.

UL-Laf lost to UL-Monroe - they are out of the picture.
FIU- Troy will decide if we get a SBC or can grab a 6 - 6.

Troy is actually losing @ halftime to Florida International.....
This would open up the door for 6-6 clubs like Pittsburgh, Kansas, and Oklahoma St.
Its in our best interest to see Troy lose.
