Opps this was supposed to go under MTSU thread
For the MCB, you mean? That would be OK, although I'd rather we played someone we haven't already faced.

I'm sure our team would love a second chance at the Wildcats, though. We fumbled eight times, losing three, and our best Defensive player (Bazuin) and top RB (Sneed) sat out to rest injuries for the Toledo game.

8 fumbles? holy crap!

Bring on the rematch!

We started a true freshman RB whose redshirt had just recently been burned. He was responsible for four of those, although only one was recovered by Kentucky. I don't think he's fumbled more than once since then (Game 5), and he's had plenty of carries. All things considered, to lose that game by just nine wasn't at all bad!
sjsu is already committed to the new mexico bowl
I'd take S. Carolina in a heartbeat.

Note to MTSU fans: this is not a slight against your team, who I would not mind us playing. It's just that CMU suffered a v-e-r-y bad loss to Spurrier's Florida team in 1997, and I'd love a chance for some payback!

A Kentucky Rematch?

Kentucky and South Carolina are going to SEC bowls. The SEC has 8 bowl tie ins, and 8 teams with 7+ wins.

In fact, if the SEC gets two BCS bids as expected, then 6-6 Alabama slides into the 8th SEC bowl.

NO chance an SEC team comes to Detroit.
It will definitely be a Sun Belt team in the MCB. This is from the top. Trust me.

It will probably be MTSU unless Troy loses to Florida International.

Unless of course no Sun Belt team is available. But I give that a 2.4% chance of happening.
I thought you meant the Kentucky volleyball team, Ohio's opponent in the first round of the NCAA tournament today.

Go Cats!
