Not a bad line-up for the MAC....sure, there may be some disappointment over the available opponents for the MCB, but with CMU in the game there'll still be high interest in the game, and I think the folks at MTSU will be also be excited about being in a bowl game and will provide a good test for the Chips.

Obviously, if NIU gets the San Diego Bowl and faces off with TCU, that provides a nice opportunity for a quality win, and UC played well down the stretch as well. Whoever represents C-USA in Mobile, the locals will turn out (at least for the 1st half!), and they'll be a good crowd. I woudn't be surprised if the Bobkitten fans turned out very well for this bowl opportunity down south!
I think Toledo has something like 30,000+ when the game was played at the SilverDome.
It is funny that high-falutin' TCU left C-USA to end up playing NIU in the Poinsettia. They also left the WAC which now has a BCS Bowl team, and another in the Top 25. With that Boise State game, the WAC closes the perceived gap between those two leagues.
Congrats, CMU. What a great reward for winning the MAC West division (and possibly the conference).

Yeah, this definitely has made me do a 180 on bottom of I-A football. I hope someday to spend the day after Christmas is Detroit and watch UB play a team not even good enough to win the Sun Belt.
I'm happy w/either the GMAC or the International.
