Quote:As of 9 p.m. Sunday night, no decision has been made on which of two bowl games -- the Motor City Bowl or International Bowl -- Western Michigan University's football team will compete in, according to Ken Hoffman, the executive director of both games.

Hoffman did say, however, that he expected a decision sometime Monday, likely by late afternoon or early evening.

that makes sense...

IMO in order for NIU to be announced in Sand Diego (which SD wants to do as soon as possible because of the early date) then the MAC bowls need to be in place beforehand. If SD wants to announce tomorrow, I bet we will see all of the MAC bowls officially announced tomorrow in the order that they are supposed to choose. Look for MCB to announce early in the afternoon and the rest to follow suit shortly thereafter.

Just a hunch but it makes the most sense from the "reliable" information we are privy to from our sources and those from west coast news papers.
I agree houston.

Assuming NIU to San Diego is on, the only way we'd be going to Detroit is if the shocker happens: Kent State fills the International Bowl spot.

Otherwise, we pretty much know who's going where, and tomorrow will just be the official formalities.
relax...it is impossible for Kent to be in this discussion...the only way you go to MCB is if we are offered the international bowl or (more unlikely) the MCB takes ya'll and send CMU to toronto

in any event, it will be great to cheer for us all independently...i think we all stand a shot at taking these matchups (i think ours will be the hardest depending on who goes to Toronto) but I am estatic that it worked out so it wasnt an us or you scenario (like the toledo situation last year)

Go Cats and Dogs and Chips and Broncs! Go MAC!
