In women's soccer that is.
NIU beat Kent State 1-0 and UT beat Miami 1-0 (OT) in the semifinals today. The championship is at Scott Park at UT on Sunday.
#5 and #7 seeds, that is pathetic, although good for us Huskies and the Rockets. That tournament was unbelievable. Seeds 1 thru 4 all lost in the first round. Hard to believe. Hopefully, our NIU men will make the finals today too. Playing Buffalo right now in DeKalb.

Kicka$$. The NIU Men's Soccer team got their revenge back against Buffalo today. Beating them 3-0. We scored two goals in the 2nd half. So, both our Men's and Women's Soccer teams are playing for the MAC Title in soccer.
Go NIU Men's and Women's Soccer teams!!!

Great to see that 2 of the 3 Huskie "football" teams are playing for a conference title!
It's UT's first trip to the championship game. Ironically, UT was the preseason favorite to win the title this year.
The other participant in the men's championship will be Akron. We defeated BG 8-2 in the semi's. Hopefully the Zips can keep that offense outburst going through the MAC finals and NCAA tournament.
