Wasn't this thread about a UB recruit?

We have to take our victories, however small they are, when and where they occur. Lord knows we don't find those victories on the football field...
So the Snooze screwed up the story. No surprise there. Second-best QB in New Jersey sounds a lot better. But that doesn't mean more victories. Drew Willy is getting worse, not better.
The Bulls offensive line sucks to put it mildly. Willy is doing Ok. He doesn't make huge mistakes like previous UB QB's. He hit guys right in the hands against Boston College and they just dropped them in the rain.

It would be good to see a change of pace running QB in that system to compensate for a bad O-line.

I love how UB fans love the fact that there's a thread about them (no matter what the content) so we always fight to get it back on track! It's hillarious. I was going to post the same thing last night.

And that's why he's been yanked in four of the last five games.

He's also had eight turnovers in the last four games while he only had one in the first four.

Bottom line: he's getting worse, not better and that's the fault of the coaches.
have you been watching the games zibby? Willy hasn't been getting yanked due to bad play. 2 of the 4 times were due to injuries, after which he came right back in. Willy isn't the problem, he's one of the few bright spots right now. How can you expect to open up a passing game when a running game nets you -4 yards on the day?
Keeping the topic Bulls related, I felt Willy's composed play was a big factor in Buffalo's opening win over TU.

I see he's rated the 85th best QB in the nation, not 22nd

you guys need to learn how to read...

He is rated the 22nd dual-threat QB in the country by rivals, not overall, plus every recruiting service has recruits at different rankings anyway
Oh now I get it, he's a dual-threat QB as opposed to the other rankings for option QB, passing QB, West Coast Offense QB, running QB, Big School QB, Small School QB......no wonder he was ranked so high when they have them spread across so many categories. And thanks for the reading lesson! 05-mafia
