NIU improves to 17-7 overall and 10-2 in MAC play after sweeping Toledo 3-0 and beating Ball State 3-1 this weekend. In our 2 MAC losses, one was a close 3-2 loss to BGSU which is a very close second to Ohio in the MAC East with a 22-3 overall and 11-1 in MAC play, and our other loss was to the MAC East-leading #22 ranked Ohio Bobcats with a 19-3 overall and is the only undefeated team in the MAC with an 11-0 record.
We're the 3rd best team in the MAC with our 8-2 record and we have the the 3rd best overall record too.
Very good Volleyball and Men's Soccer teams with a possible bowl-bound NIU football team if we go 3-0 in our next three games. NIU Athletics are looking really good!
