great job UT!

Congrats!
It is about time that UT turned off the self-destruct mode. They are too talented a team to have this record in the MAC.
The only game that they should have lost is obviously the WMU game. The rest, they should be wins. ;-)

Big loss for Akron. That put them 2 losses behind both Kent State and Ohio. Akron mathmatically still alive, but they are also a game behind BGSU as well.

Wow Akron, i knew last year was a fluke season, but losing to a winless MAC team.
Nonetheless, congrats to Toledo! Gotta keep up the MAC West record over the MAC East.
The MAC West vs. MAC East record:
Ball State: 2-0 vs. East teams (Miami and Buffalo)
Central Michigan: 2-0 vs. East teams (BGSU and Akron)
Eastern Michigan: 0-1 vs. East teams
Northern Illinois: 2-1 vs. East teams (Buffalo and Miami)
Western Michigan: 0-1 vs. East teams
Toledo: 1-1 vs. East teams (Akron)
MAC West has 7-4 record vs. MAC East teams for a 64% winning percentage. Not to mention, Temple ends its 20-game losing streak to a MAC East team.

With a win next week, Ohio goes 3-0 against the west...

Seeing who you play in your next game, I wouldn't say much. You would hate to lose to one of the worst teams in the MAC, wouldn't you?

Perhaps.
But don't kid yourself. Brookhart is a good coach and will have the Zips back in shape next year.
This year's sked was terrible...not the teams on it, but the home situation.
I don't think any MAC team could come away from that schedule with a winning record.
