Great, you got your 6-6 BCS school for Motor City. Lets see how many 8 win MAC's sit home.

Ummm, a 6-6 BCS team can't bump a 7 win or more team from a bowl slot that is locked up with another conference. Example, a 7 win MAC team can't be bumped from the Motor City Bowl by a 6-6 Cincinnati or 6-6 Iowa State squad.
All the 8 win MAC's will be in bowls, bank on it. The new BCS game opens up two more bowl spots.

5 BCS games.........6 AQ spots......plus Notre Dame, plus Boise......that gives 2 at-larges......Michigan and a SEC school.

You must be 7-5 to be selected for a bowl unless you have a conference tie in.

CUSA....5 bowl slots/5 teams .500 or better
MWC......4 bowl slots/2 teams with wining records, 3 teams .500
WAC.....3 bowl slots/3 teams with winning records, 1 team to BCS

MAC.....3 bowl slots/5 teams with winning records

I think the Poinsetta is going to be open, and the Independene.....the MAC is in the best position to fill those bowls.

The Big East is a backup conference for the MCB, so thus we figure to have you guys if Big Ten sends 2 to the BCS.

Not even the Big East's web site says this, so I don't know where you are getting this information.
