Garrett Wolfe. Are his recent struggles primarily due to stacked defenses (certainly part of the equation, IMHO), a weaker-than-expected OL, or a less potent passing game.

And no, I'm not really 05-stirthepot . I'm genuinely curious.
I think we're all curious.

My opinion is the O-line takes more of the blame than any other factor, but maybe not the majority of the blame. This O-line collapse started when Jake Nordin (our starting TE) broke his leg against Ball State. While Jake was a tremendous blocker and great talent, I can't imagine that having Jake gone is that big of a factor.

All of a sudden the last couple games, there are 8 & 9 in the box and heavy blitzing that the O-line just looks lost when trying to pick up.

Other contributing factors: the pressure and media attention got to be too much for GW, the line, the team, the coaches; GW hasn't played as well; Horvath hasn't helped.

I've heard Sam Pittman (our o-line coach) called one of the best O-line coaches in all of college football. While that may be true, it just seems like our blocking schemes have become too predictable and readable. It's like a light went on for opposing defenses all of a sudden on how to dominate our O-line and find holes. Pittman and his gang need to counter and "man up" in the trenches.

Having said all this, it's even more discouraging because there really is a LOT of talent on the O-line.

Those are my opinions. I'm sure people will have others.

D) All of the Above

Definitely all of the above.

I think he will do better this week though. The superior Big Ten teams don't need to stack the line against the weaker MAC teams, they will find out.
I think it is all about teams keying in on him because once he gets past the front 7, he's usually gone. Also, the O-line has taken some hits this year. I Our best oline man is playing with an injured leg, and I think our starting center is out for the season. I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but sometimes I wish Novak would put a Fullback in to block for Wolfe.

Or play 2 TE's.
