First off - congrats to EMU for their win, you deserved it and it's nice to see a program that has lost so many close games over the past two or three years get a win in the final seconds.

Second, Toledo sucks - period! They will not win a game the rest of the season. Toledo Tom made a terrible tactical error after the second TD to go for two-points and got burned, and then UT quickly lost momentum. The Rockets then failed miserably on the special teams and defensive areas in the final minute to lose. If Toledo played Temple or FAU or NM State or any IA team - at this moment, they would lose to each and every one of them. Toledo has no confidence and is playing very bad football. I cannot believe the incredible free fall we have just made over the past five or six weeks.

It's time to quote "Dandy Don Meredith" - 'the party is over, it's time to turn out the lights.' You guys can hum that tune and think of my Rockets who at this moment are pathetic at best.

For the record though (especially for those who believe I pick Toledo to win every week) I correctly picked UT to lose for the second straight week. Again
Will we see Toledo make an apperance in the ESPN bottom 10 this week? 05-stirthepot
I too thought EMU would win this game, mainly because I didn't think they were quite as bad as their record. I think there are plenty of teams that Toledo is still better than. UT would beat Kansas if they played again, probably UCF, most of the Sun Belt, Temple, Stanford, Utah State...
Maybe Toldeo just bought their Rockets this season from Lowest bidder is all...
Kim Jung you know who...Honorbale Leader from Korea...

Or maybe someone's been using a leaf blower next to a BBQ pit to pipe the smell of food near Tom and distracting him... ;-)
I'm still baffled by this UT team.

Every week I keep waiting for them to wake up. Granted, I've only seen them play on TV a couple times (KU and now EMU), but they seem so talented that you just wait for them to wake up.

And it just never happens.
I think were finding out that what you did last year or the last five years means nothing this season.
No great MAC teams
Some teams are good, some teams are ok and a lot of teams are bad and some are just plain pathetic.

Kent State is 5-2......they beat Miami, BGSU(4-4), Akron, Temple and Toledo

CMU 5-3.....they beat Toledo, EMU, Ball State, Akron, and BGSU(4-4)

Ohio 5-3 they beat Tenn-Martin (6-1), NIU(5-3), WMU(5-2), Illinois, and Buffalo.

WMU 5-2 beat Virginia, Temple, NIU(5-3), Ball State, Toledo

NIU 5-3 beat UB, EMU, Temple, Miami, and Ball State(2-6)

Hard to say thay NIU deserves a bowl over any of the others....best win is Ball State?
I've been following the MAC since the early 90s, and I can't remember Toledo having a down year, let alone a rock bottom year. Can't imagine what happened between the ISU/Kansas games and the MAC season (although neither team looked good in the Kansas game).

Knowing UT, this is probably the only season we can jump on them. I'm guessing they won't be down for long.

Don't know if many UT fans are as optimistic about a turnaround next season.

I am, for one. The manner in which they lost this year has to leave a very sour taste in the mouth. I BELIEVE that should be motivation enough to work harder than ever in the off-season to get back to the top.
