I watched Comcast this evening..Joe fired on ESPN for the scheduling..to paraphrase he feels that the teams do not get much revenue for the sacrifices they have to make. Brought up the Sunday night game at Miami Ohio. They arrived home at 5:30 am and many players had class at 8:00 am. Also mentioned that some players skipped class and that they would deal with that.
Did anyone mention this here this week since the show was taped earlier in the week?
Who were the players? Will they play on Saturday?
Hopefully it was Phil and he won't play.

I'm so sick of that excuse of missing classes. It's BS!!!
When did the team leave for the Ohio State game??? Friday morning? I don't hear complaining about that, I'm sure many kids missed classes.
With the Miami game, no one needed to miss classes, they just went to some tired.

considering it was the holiday weekend and they classes were just starting its not a big deal. Missong time now mid semester can be a big deal.
Marcus Perez was at our 8am class. He was representing NIU with his jumpsuit. I was impressed to see him there on a rather pointless day.

Well Joe is right, i calculated the money the MAC as a conference and individual MAC schools make for the MAC/ESPN deal, and it is barely anything. Then you factor in the fact that the deal is for both MAC football and MAC basketball, and the deal we have is crap.
