Word out of Bedford is that Rodney Gamby has one year of eligibility and plans to use it next sesaon. He's up to 213 lbs and "in the best shape of his life."
also, since we were talking about bedford kids, i asked about joe kay of "tossing the kid through a window" fame. He is playing for Findlay. 8 tackles, 1 for loss, and a sack.

heard it was one heck of a party though.
The most important thing to come out of either case would be that both guys have overcome the problems that they had.

I don't know whether Rodney can be a factor on the field again, or whether he will even be given an opportunity, but it's good to hear that he wants to try.

I don't think I posted this before, but before the Kansas game I ran into Brock Dodrill in the Rocket Carryout. He was very excited about attending the game and was looking forward to seeing Dave Thomas and some of his old teammates whom he said were coming in for the game. He looks great, is very positive, and said he is playing arena ball in Columbus. He loved playing football at Toledo and I'm glad he has achieved a goal of continuing to play the game.
didnt dodrill actually put up some really good numbers at toledo's pro day a few years back?

He still has high school eligibility? I knew St. Francis was having a down year but this is ridiculous.
